Alex, took these pics last night to show you the spur growth over time and how you can approximate the age of your birds.
The first is a cockerel, will be a year old in the spring.
The second is a cock, an upcoming 2 year old.
The third is a cock that is approaching his 3rd year.
Obviously, that last one really needs to be trimmed so it doesn't interfere with breeding.
