Show off your Old English Game Bantams!!

See, your's sped up and mine have slowed down. I have a sebright unzipping now, first chick in a while to start hatching out. I'm amazed at the number of large fowl I hatched on Day 19. Had all those eggs on the outside edges of the incubator. Bet it's a little warmer out there.

I'm up to seven and one zipping now. I know my edges are warmer. I have thermometers everywhere. It's a standing joke with me and my wife but I'm learning how the air moves in my bator just by watching the different temp changes.

Woke up to 10. My wife moved five of the older ones to the brooder to cut down on the chaos. :) We've got one zipping now. Off to church in a bit. Happy Easter! Hope your babies are still doing well! BTW: all my large fowl hatched on day 19.

I think my final count will be 10/12 hatched. 3 CL, 2 EE, 1 OE, 2 SB, 1 black OEGB, 1 lemon blue OEGB. Have 2 still unzipping, a little black OEGB that's dead in the shell (he pipped, and started, but the larger chicks turned him into a football) and a CL that is as of yet, late in day 20, unpipped. I'm gonna say my Incuview and the hatcher I built worked just fine. That's an 83% hatch, not too shabby. It's been fun hatching with you. I'll post pics of all the chicks when the rest get hatched and dry.

I'm tickled that I managed to hatch one of my little blacks in my first try with this incubator. I didn't manage that all season last year.

That's Great! When I got back from church we had another one to hatch so we're at 12 midway through day 20. I've got a tea niny Silkie that's a little spradle legged we've got to work on. My wife made Easter dinner for our immediate family but the number of guests doubled some how. :) As soon as the dust clears I'll move the rest to the brooder and take pictures, too.

Those are beautiful!!! My favorites are still your lemon blues especially after seeing the chick! The Turken cross mother must be heterozygous for white.
Great work!
Thanks. Your chicks are nice as well. I love Easter Egger chicks. They're so fluffy. That's a very nicely colored LB chick. Most are very dark, but this one has a lighter shade. I used to have a silkie roo. Intended on breeding him to the white turken hen, but a fox changed my plans. I did cross him with a sultan hen, and produced this cockerel, but the fox got him as well.
