This is my "little" very spoiled rabbit Miss Sarah Jean....now 5 years old..and Miss we found out this past summer..is really a mister. It is too late now so we always speak to him as if he was a she...lives inside but has an outdoor pen for the summer days...but always comes in at night. Litter box trained so easy clean up...loves apples!

We have two show stock Hollond lops. We are going to breed, one is a cute little tort and the other is a little girl (black) that we just got. Both of her parents were ARBA grand champions, but her ears do not go down well, our buck has great ears, so we are hoping to get some good ones (he has many grand champions in his pedigree as well!

I will get some pictures of Lopsy and Ebony tomorrow.

I want a Holland Lop so bad! I was looking for one for my female (Lionhead), but I couldn't find any. Instead this young boy holding a dutch rabbit came up to us, and said he found it in the park, and asked if we wanted it (YES!!!), anyway about one year later, and I am in love with that rabbit! He is the sweetest thing! Here are some pics:
(P.S. Both are spayed/neutered so no worries!)

Dutch (Charlie) on the day we got him:

If you breed your doe during cooler weather (or when she has them in cooler weather) It will help the young use there ears less, which will help them lose the the ear control (good thing).

This is Ebony, both parents are grand champions, but her ears are not staying down well, so the breeder sold her, but she said with Lopsy's ears, their babies should be good! Ebony has many grand champions in her pedigree. She is 3 months

you can also tape a quarter into the inner part of her ear to help them drop more... I did this with my FL and you couldn't tell his ears were ever not dropped right.... best to do it when they are younger.
