Show off your Red sex-links!! [[pictures included]] !! (:

Here's my three little RSL's (RIRxSLW) hatched out at the first of the month, along with a F2 OE (3/4 FBCM; 1/4 CCL). They're SO cute in this picture. Right now they're considerably bigger and righteous little dino-like thugs who will mug you for mealworms.

My guess is she could be a barnyard mix or a Production Red.

wondering when 1 week later looks like,

we had another mix that looked more like a RSL. But it didn't make it, the incubator went up to 116 this morning some how so thankfully I had our early hatcher n the brooder. He will have some silkie friends next friday though. Then going to set some more eggs.

I will post pictures as he grows though, it'll be interesting to see how he differs from a SS, since he looks more like a SS chick.

What kind of incubator are you using?

It was a homemade one, someone messed with the thermostat. But we are using a styrofoam one from a friend for the silkie eggs, we use the dry hatch and they are 10 days behind the other eggs or we would have hatched them all in this one. The homemade one was more of a back up plan for hatches.
