Your rooster definitely not a blue wheaten Ameraucana. He might be a lavender or an EE I can't see good enough to tell

What characteristics tell you that? It would be cool to know for future reference. What characteristics mark a lavender?

Do any of these pics make it easier to see?

The color is not where close to hat a blue wheaten looks like, but looks just like a lavender. No I need to see his legs to tell of e I an am or ee.

Cool beans! Thanks for the info. I have one more question if you don't mind my asking, what color eggs do the lavender lay? I have the two RIR hens and was curious as to the eggs that his future chick's might lay.

All ameraucanas lay blue eggs. If you were to breed him to your reds the offspring would be OEs olive eggers
