Norman is a homegrown mutt. I know for sure he's 1/2 Phoenix and 1/4 Silkie. As far as I can tell the last 25% is 1/8 Sumatra and 1/8 Gamefowl. But he's almost a dead ringer for a pure Sumatra, funny enough, though his size is wrong - he's half way between bantam and standard.

I know it's a tad soon, but I reallllly hope this little guy turns out to be a rooster, cause I've named him Bubba and he's pretty. :) he's the largest one of his "siblings" and he's also the most friendly. And he's got feathers on his feet. I LOVE a rooster with feathers on his feet!!

This is Poof, our Buff Polish Crested!
He was one of four "hens" we purchased online, so it was definitely a surprise when our "little hen" grew spurs!

I've found that he likes being held on his back, so much so that you can put him on different objects and he'll stay there. Here he is on a tethering pole for horses, seeming pretty content, and not at all tough like he tries to be!

Oh my goodness, what an adorable pic! You should enter in next year's calendar contest!

Don't do that to him within 2hours of sun set unless he's inside at night. A coon could wipe out whole flock before poor buff boy even opens one eye
