Norman in his new vest.

(PS I'm probably gonna be spamming this thread with pics of Norman the next few days since I'll be with him 24/7... lol he's even gonna sleep in the bathroom of my hotel room!)

Norman in his new vest.I made it up from an old hat a few nights ago, since I needed something to keep him tied up with at the show when I'm not watching him.

Don't you get nervous taking him places that he will get sick? I don't ever think I'd compete with my birds ever because of that.
Eh, it's really very unlikely for birds to get sick simply by being at a show. It's more buying birds and bringing them home that spreads disease. Although regardless Norman is not actually competing, just hanging out at my booth on the fairgrounds with my bosses' sale pullets.Though I do also have a Silkie of my own competing.

totally!Yep! He's going to the Santa Rosa Heirloom Expo this week... I'll have him in a harness and on a leash for folks to see and pet. Living proof against the "all roosters are mean" crowd... amazing how many people think that.
My little 3 month old chick stubbernly refused to move out of the way of the door to his day pen yesterday and my hands were full so I gently put my foot on his chest to move him back a few inches and he puffed up at me and tried to stare me down, all while not budging!I tried to not laugh at his misplaced bravado and pushed back a little harder and he pushed back! So I put my armful of things down and grabbed him and held him under my arm while he angry clucked me all over the yard. Lol...that's a first for him..I put him down after he calmed and excepted me holding him. Silly Milo..
