Here's my little Buff Orp Roo. He's just a hatchery guy, but he's a great rooster. He's only 29 weeks old.

He looks just like mine. He's not an Easter egger. He's a silver Ameracauna rooster. That's what mine is. See.

Its a possibility. I'm not sure what I have. They were all abandoned in my yard. And was told they were EE's.

both birds are EE's without a doubt sorry the green legs are a dead giveaway along with coloring that they are ee's. both roosters show clasic ee coloring

Yeah he got 1st place in the ameracauna category. He also stand REALLY tall. That's why I call my other rooster Pee- Wee. Haha

4-h? as if it was an apa show he wouldn't placed due to coloring. our livestock shows allow EE's to be called ameraucana when they really arent and i find it a disgrace to the breed to continue to allow ee's to still be called ameraucana. it's hard to come by true ameraucana as most folks do get theres from hatcheries which mislable there birds (but now usually have that they are ee's and not true ameraucana). i have to ee pullets i could let my kids show as ameraucana but wouldnt really get anything and would be going against themselves and would get a 1st and 2nd place ribbion...ask those on the ameraucana thread what they think if he is a poor typed silver or just an ee...if he came from a hatchery he is 100% ee though.

Isn't he funky looking? I can't decide if he's pretty or not, but he surely is interesting looking! He came from Happy Mountain Farm in TN.
