This is my rooster Jelly bean He's a 16 week old maran Im unsure of what colour
The people I bought him from said he was a blue maran But he looks like a black maran.
If you know what colour he is let me know please.

He's really friendly and loves my little sisters.

He Loves to pose for photos.

I can't see his legs really well so I have no clue if he is a Marans. But if he was hatched from 2 blue parents then the whole hatch would be blue, black and splash, not just blue.

Here's my young roo from my egg hatching back in April from Kurts Australorp line. He was enjoying hanging out in and out from by the misters and the water left the yellowish spots on his feathers. It gets hot here, so have to keep them cool!

Thank's! I know he will be a big boy. I had my eye on Kurt's Australorps for a while before I even joined the site here, but couldn't order the hatching eggs until I joined BYC!

I need to get a photo of my roo now that he's starting to look a little more feathered. He is a massive hatchery black Austrolorp. Hasn't even started filling in yet. Took him forever to grow and feather.
