rooster # 2 "Bernie" originally Bernadette, we had what we thought were 3 silkie hens their names, Penny, Bernadette andd,Amy....and then one day Bernadette started crowing.

Oh man. I'm pretty sure white beards are against the standard in Wheaten cocks, but I absolutely love the contrast it has with the rest of his plumage!

White is normal in juvenile wheaten cockerels. It will turn black
