1. Here is Albain, my porcelain d'Uccle cockerel (he is 8 months old) who was hatched by completely removing him from his egg (thank you BYC, fowlweatherfriends and silkiechicken) and seeing the gorgeous roo he has become, boy am I glad I did. Since he was hand raised, he is very sweet and personable. He is a bit muddy in this photo, but handsome nonetheless.
   
   

As a chick was he lavender with some fawn/pale gold color on his neck? I have 4 OEGB's that are 5wks old now and I suspect they might be Porcelains. I can't seem to find another color that looks like them.

He started out pale buff/creamish. He quickly developed the lavender and gold though. Here is a picture of him at 3 weeks. You can clearly see the lavender and peachy-gold tones.
