she is most certainly a hen. should be in lay by the look

This is one of my favorite pictures.
This is the younger of our two roos, a SLW. In this photo he is only about 15 weeks.
He is definitely not the dominant roo, but he keeps his eye on the hens he claims as his.
The other roo we have is a beautiful Australorp. I don't have a good picture of him, yet.

He is single combed.
He is a feisty boy who is now trying to protect the hens from the the head Roo's mounting them.
He rushes in attacking then gets his own butt chased all over the place for it.
I worry about him.
