This is our Diego, keeping an eye on me to make sure I don't spook his girls.
Yesterday, after I pushed one of the hens away from my foot (she likes to peck the holes in my crocs), he jumped up and hit my shins with his feet. It didn't hurt, but did startle me...and the hen. I wasn't sure what to do, but I'd read somewhere here that I should show him who is the boss, so I stood up and walked toward him and wouldn't let him gain momentum for another hop. Eventually he ended up in the corner and I made him stay there till he calmed down. He still crowed for an hour after I left the run.
