Thank you! I take a lot of pride in them. He is a black-gray. What breed of birds do you raise? I am looking for some good quality Old English Game Banties.

Right now I have a very small flock of very old hens and three young Silkies. My hens are BO, SLW, and WPR. In years past I've had a variety of different breeds. I had a few Games, too. One BBR and one similar to yours. I think the older guys called him a Gin Grey. I love the OEGB. My favorite chicken of all was a little white OEGB hen. Have you been to the OEGB threads?Thank you! He is so cute. I caught my BO boy in the nesting box a couple of times just clucking away. What's so hilarious (at least to me) is he generally walks up and down the ramp while one of the girls is laying, he looks in the pop door at her on the nest ~like he's checking to make sure she is still there or something. When she finally gets done and does her little egg song he does it with her. Thing is he just keeps going, she done with her song and is out there scratching in the dirt and he's walking around carrying on for 10-15min like he's the one who laid the egg
Just like a man to hog the "nest"thus the term "hen pecked." We husbands can relate with the little guy.![]()

my banty rooster will sit in front of the nest box while one of his hens is laying. and when she does her egg song all three of roosters start up with her. my roos are in separate pens with their own flocks. but they can still see and hear each other. and it gets very loud when a hen lays.He is so cute.
