I was looking through this feed and noticed your post, and I have some exciting news for people like you and me who have neighbors who live too close for Roosters. I have recently found a lady who is making these rooster "no crow" collars, and they are AMAZING!!! They look like little sweatbands and let me tell you, they work wonders! Its basically a collar made of velco and some other soft fabric, and it goes loosley around the middle of their neck and all it does is keep the roosters from being able to fill up the pocket of air in their neck in which they need to for a loud crow. This makes their crow into more of a croak, which is still enough to satisfy him, and his ladys. It also enables us to keep our beautiful roos without problems with the neighbors. this is the website for the collars, and it has a lot more info on it: https://www.facebook.com/RoosterCollarsAll if these boys are so colorful and interesting. I'd love to have a roo, but we have neighbors on both sides of us and I fear them getting upset at rooster noise. I personally wouldn't mind it, but I don't want to make the neighbors mad. If only there were mute roosters![]()
