show off your showgirls!

i WISH i had some pics for this thread! but i thought i'd at least ask others if they can PLEASE post some pics of their showgirls as chicks and/or adults. i have 9 showgirl eggs in my incubator and i just think they're the cutest!!!! they have 2 more weeks till hatch date and i'm dying with anticipation! i would love to see some pics!!

awww...how sweet! my eggs are mostly white showgirls.....there's one egg marked GSG and i have no idea what the G stands for. but the other ones are whites. does anyone have any ideas what the G stands for?

3 weeks ago I bought 2 showgirl chicks from a breeder. They both looked about the same age, maybe a week apart.The black is named skeksis and the little splash is Lola. Lola was the smallest with Skeksis being a little bigger as chicks sometimes are. The rest of the chicks were the same size as Skeksis. I didn't ask how old they were, just if they needed to be under a heat lamp at night and the breeder said they were past that stage. Now showgirls I beleive are bantams anyway so Ok I figured 4 weeks old, but in Texas it's so hot at night, maybe they could have been younger. Anyway Skeksis is growing and Lola doesn't really look any bigger than when we brought her home. It's been 3 weeks. Skeksis makes her look like she is shrinking. They have been living in my bathroom because it's so hot I'm scared Lola can't take the heat. Here are some pics. Your thoughts. I couldn't find a showgirl thread

lola is adorable, but I am afraid to say she may not make it. Every one that I have had (silkie and showgirl) that stayed tiny all passed before they were a year old- never growing near as big as the others.

There is a chance she just was not as old as your other ones, but you should still be seeing some growth. Keep an eye out, I wish you luck.

Here's a couple of my SG's...one is of course nicer than the other, but I also have a couple buffs a gray or possible lavy nnSG coming up. Will try to post more pics later on. Glad someone started a SG thread

Here's my little showgirl:

Kind of blurry but she won't sit still!!

Two weeks old, today. And I also named her lola. Bet that's one of the more common showgirl names! Plus if she ends up being a HE I can tell everyone it's the Kinks and not Barry Manilow. Even better.
