Show off your small or cheap made coop

I like the boxes on top like that never would have thought of it.

Here's my coop that I attached to an existing shed with leftover materials from my jobs. It's 6' by 12' with a raised floor made of car decking.

Here you can see that I installed electrical. The roosts are on the left with trays that pull out to collect the manure. On the right is the nesting boxes with storage and a brooder above.

here's a close up of the manure tray.

here's the brooder with some chicks. To the right you can just make out the feeder. There's also an automatic waterer next to it. I just need to figure out a way to make that work when it freezes outside.

here you see the door on the other side. The chicken door and ramp. You have to go through the coop to get into the run. I thought this would be the best way to keep out predators.(like my dog) You can also see the cute windows I saved from my shed building days.

Here's a view of the large run. One day I might get around to covering it.

I built this little tractor on Friday in a few hours. It's mostly built out of $0.51 lumber scraps from Home Depot--The house is built from scraps and some old drawers from an old shed.

It's to house my chicks while we finish updating the real coop and get them out of the big brooder during the day. I think I'll end up using it as a tractor for two hens--rotating who is in. Or maybe a breeding pen. Or for quarantining new birds.

The logs are on top because I didn't have a hasp to secure the door.

Since these pics were taken, we built the run, painted it the same brown as the coop and the run door is painted pink with blue trim, and green hardware like the other doors. And we built a ramp which is brown, and the steps on the ramp are alternating between green, pink, and blue

I don't think it's particularly good, but it's what i can build.
plan on building a run attached to it.
it's 2ft raised, and is a 4ft square, didn't want to have to get on my knees to clean and fetch eggs.
the run will be the same shape but 8ft long for now.
have 7 red sex-links. i think they'll get too large for the coop, but i'd be happy to expand later.
;) the green netting is temporary, i'll get the good stuff before it's more than a playpen.

I do not see a problem. I think it looks right nice.
