Show Ready?!?

Am getting some pretty light brahmas the end of April. My kids show at our local fair and was thinking about adding a couple hens to their fair entries. Will they be show ready in 20 weeks? Thx so much!!!

I think so, as long as they are not cheeping (I seen/heard of people getting disqualified for that because they were too young)

If they are large fowl Brahmas 20 weeks is pretty young as they are a slow growing breed. For all breeds a disqualification is "absence of breed characteristics" & weight is a breed characteristic. Pullet weight is 8 pounds-if they are close to that at fair time show them.
If they are bantams you should be ok-they mature faster than the large fowl.
