Along with a Buff Orpington hen I got an EE and a Black Ameraucana today to add to my flock!!! Here they are!!!

This is Doodle my new EE hen.

This is Midnight my new Black Ameraucana hen.

here's my EE roo Marbles, he FINALLY crowed this morning. I'm so proud, even though he has a horrible voice, lol.

So, Then the lavender ameraucanas aren't ameraucanas - they are EE's as well.?

They are a project bird, the color has not been accepted to the standard. We are planning on doing that at the Crossroads in 2011.

The do breed true and are developed enough at this point to meet all other requirements of the standard.
