Who couldn't like EE's in trees, crazycatnchickenlady?

Yes, they are all sweet things!

this was our first day out. and my only babies who were brave enough to come out of the box were my ameraucana/ee's, so i thought i'd share this pic here. today we discovered grass (scary!), bugs (tasty!) and attempted to fly (not quite enough feathers yet). two pullets crashing and staring at one another like "what just happened?" was pretty frickin' hilarious, let me tell you. this is 6 of the 7 who were big enough for the great outdoors, plus 5 wyandottes who would barely peek out the door of the crate.

There are second generation EEs, but I'll get around to posting them later. Enjoy!

This is my EE "Ducky". She had crocked toes and the splint did not work, but she can roost fine as you can see. She is 3.5 weeks old in this picture taken last week. I wonder if she will be pure white?

Look at Ducky now! Turned out to be a roo! These photos are at 10 weeks. Have only heard one crow so far.

Just wanted to comment that Chickie there is one GORGEOUS rooster!

Everyone's EE/ameraucana pics are awesome. Bertha, my EE, is camera shy and is still a little young, but her feathers have come in rather beautifully & she is getting tufts under her ears & under her "chin" (do chickens have chins??). You know what I mean.. that bearded thing they get.

It was really hard to get a picture of a few of them. They are in with other chicks. But the one in the front and one in the back. They are both ameraucanas ...Well they are suppose to be. Let me know if they different other wise..
