Just went to a home improvement store and bought the cheap left over wood.

my coop is a work in progress

but i picked up an old cabinet with 2 shelves in it at habitat for humanity for $5 and screwed some scrap wood along the front of the the 3 compartments - will post some pics when its all finished

I wanted a few extra nesting boxes, so we make these for the corners.
That's a buff Orp in the one on the right.

This is what I use because we own the company that makes them! I love them they are made from food grade plastic, no where for mites to hide, easy to clean and disinfect. They will mount to the wall stack on top of each other and the top is pitched so they can't roost on top and poo.

DH did it all, the design and building of it....over a weekend....
