I have seen Guinea-Old English hybrids and Ringneck Pheasant- Malay hybrids but a cross between two breeds of chicken is not a hybrid. Tom

Those are some beautiful roosters, momiphouph. I love the colors, especially. Here are some of my mutts:
First, one of my faves....her dad is Columbian Wyandotte, mom is an EE:

This one: dad CW, mom Production Red:

Another CW X PR:

This one: CW dad, Barred Rock mom:

Here's a pic of the first batch I incubated from these crosses.....the dad to all is the CW:

Only one of the babies from the BR moms barred out, the other 4 are black. So, only one roo out of those

The ones that look most like the dad are out of PR and RIR hens
The mottled-looking ones came from the EE hen, and I had one beautiful almost penciled-looking one out of a Brown Leghorn mom. (Will try and post a pic of him later)
Anyway, I love the crosses. Columbo did a great job, I think.

Oops, just realized that last pic has red babies in it......I did not hatch those out, they came from a feed store. NONE of my babies came out red.....hhmmmm.....

Those are gorgeous birds! I love the "mutt" birds. I am tempted to try but must admit a little scared to get a rooster. I have seen and read some scary stories involving roosters.

My EEs aren't old enough to lay yet, but once they are I have 1 EE roo, 1 BR roo, 5 EE hens, and 9 BR hens. I'm hoping to get a pretty BRxEE....it should be interesting looking.
