I have read (in the very little info I could find) that for two birds eighteen square feet is required. Thats almost the same as my pheasants.

I went and checked my building plans. 7' x 5.5' (38.5 square feet) for the housing and 12' x 5.5' (66 square feet) for the flight pen. That sounds just about right then?

I should think that would be plenty. Do you have any pic's of your Kings?
 
Runts are quite a bit larger than Kings.

The rule of thumb for a typical pigeon is 2 square feet of floor space per bird. The larger birds will need a little more, probably around double.
