Showgirl Roosters? Wait for the crow?

Not new to chickens but new to Showgirls(and boys lol).

I have these two gems and am noticing difference’s in feather growth/grow out. I was wondering if there are indicators regarding gender? I know it’s hard to tell but any thoughts are appreciated.


I’ve noticed the black one feathered much faster and has a mullet

The chocolate has a cleaner puff(at the back) and is growing feathers SO SLOWLY.

I think the second one is probably a cockerel. Not because of the things you listed, but because it has a lot of red coloring on its face. It would help to know how old they are. Comb/wattle size are the best things to judge by until they are older.
