Showing boilers?

Im interested in showing boilers and I a friend of mine told me that they need a wing tag so my question is that do you need a wing tag to show.boilers and if I buy from a hatchery will they already tag them?

I'm pretty sure that hatcheries will not wing band, but not positive. What I've seen is like if you're showing 4H, they'll provide you with the wing bands and record your numbers, and you band them yourself. It's so that you can't swap birds around before the show.

Try talking to the people running the show, they know the requirements. If your 4-H club has someone managing the poultry they should know. Your extension agent should be a good resource too. That would be my first call.
