I have one of the mini sized yorkies. She is 2 1/2 lbs. With the lack of size comes alot of other things to worry about. You really have to stay on top of their health. That little cough (sp) that would not bother you Lab may be enough to send your mini to the doggy ER.
Or the chicky poo she just ate could keep you up all night pucking (her not me). She too has a soft spot that did not close.

I agree that mini size only profits the breeder. Any one that thinks they are going to breed one that small and not have any trouble is crazy. When we were studding Georgie we would not breed to the mini size ones. That said I would not trade Sophie for anything she is my furchild, not a for profit breeder.
