Nibs stayed pretty chubby through her whole time sitting. she was pretty funny to watch when she would get off her nest...once a day and at a full sprint almost all the way down to the creek, lol.

gone for 5 minutes then right back! i am so proud of her, especially with this being her first time sitting!

Congratulations!!! The colors are just stunning. One of ours hatched out 14 babies on Wed. All look to be standard scovy colors. Still cute as can be. We have 5 more sitting, hope to get a bit more of a variety in colors. Yours are beautiful!!!!!

daddy was a white-blue-lavender-cream color, lol.....

the grandparents were all different colors in the same pen so these guys throw a wide variety of colors but i have and the people that own the GP's get a lot of blues/silvers and whites...

the chocolates aren't as often but they are just GORGEOUS, raging from solid chocolate to light/buff brown. i am really excited since she had 2 in this clutch!


ETA: i thought it was kinda odd that she only had 1 black baby

I'm still waiting for Scovie babies, and hope to get some this year, Rosilee wants nest again, but the only problem is, is that she wants to lay eggs in the nest box that Stencil and Akai my two runners are sharing, sitting on their last remaining mallard egg, I'm hoping it hatches, so them she can have it!

ducklove, i have some runner mix eggs if you're interested? i was just gonna put them in the bator but i already have about 20 still in there not counting the ones that have already hatched.

i think i have about 6 counting the one i should have today.
