Well if they have mites then definitely get rid of them before the show. If a judge finds your bird has mites or someone else does you could get kicked from the show. I always look for mites on my birds during showmanship and tell the judge that if they did have them I'd treat them with seven dust

so if they do find them tell them i will treat it at the fair and i can stay will they look throw the feather

Good lord wouldn't making sure the birds are healthy and parasite free be the first step to showing a chicken...? I be you can buy whatever color ribbon you want off of Ebay and tell your friends whatever you want...ridiculous. You should show a healthy bird that fits the breed standard for it's breed...
