Now I am a little more nervous about getting my incubator. I don't want to mess anything up.

I am going thru my first hatch. I understand the nerves! We had 2 eggs pip yesterday and one hatched late last night. At some point in the night the lid got bumped and the humidity dropped to 44%. I chipped away at the pip from egg 2 and moistened the membrane... within an hour it was out of its shell. I check 3 others and I had lost 1 at some point. 2 more are alive and well. They aren't ready to come out yet but the membrane is moist now and they are moving ok. I don't think there is a 100% success rate. But your first hatch is going to be a learning experience. I have learned a TON this last 3 weeks. Don't be afraid. I am sure there are plenty of people here to help
