Hi this is my first time incubating eggs, this serama egg is on day 19, it pipped last night. It was peeping and picking at its shell but hasn’t broken through any more shell. The membrane is golden brown, please help!

Try to raise your humidity to the maximum for lockdown 60%-80%. For one of my eggs, I also dapped a little bit of water on the membrane, the chick had been trying to come out for 1 and a half days, but came out within 30 minutes of me dabbing on a bit of water. Make sure it’s not too much water. You can use some sort of cotton ball or Q-tip

Use vegetable oil if you need to moisten a membrane. Water can actually dry it out.

I can’t get the humidity higher than 66%, hopefully that’s ok.

66 should be good. If it drops below 60 Add more water surface area with a sponge, wash cloth, or even a paper towel.
