Shrink wrap

I have had one that lost some yolk once and it doesn't mean they didn't get any, If it isn't interested you can't force it. Keep giving the electrolyte water if it needs it.

The sign of an infection can be the need to go to heat so that could be a sign it is infected but also being newly hatched they really like the heat so maybe not.

You will just need to keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't come out again and if it does clean your hands thoroughly before pushing it back in.

You have done a great job so far because it does look like it lost a lot of yolk, you can get an antibiotic for birds its more angled towards parrots but maybe try that if it is infected but I'm not sure if it can be given to Chicks cause I've never had to use it.

The was eating abd drinking this morning. It is a spoiled because all it wants is to be held.

I think The intestines are going to be ok. I has to go to The city toda y and realized that i was going to have to bring him. He is The only pone that has survived The hatch.

No i hace another problem

Rianxera14, give electrolytes if you need, but I would advise against sugar water. Sugar water has long been given to sick people and animals, but is actually slow poison to even a healthy body. Electrolytes are minerals that help keep water balanced on a cellular level inside the body. Like sodium, your body cannot absorb water without it. Animals can't either. Sugar is a carbohydrate, and uses important vitamins and mineral from the body to digest it and flush it out.

Eating and drinking are good signs. I'd just keep an eye on the color of the babe's poop.

Ok, I won't add sugar. I added children vitamin to the water. However, now I have to deal with this, I think it is a split tendon.

The chick got a slipped tendon today. Here is how it looks like.
We made a splint to keep it straight so the tendon doesn't shrinks. It seemed to have perked up right after.

Thanks for checking in. The little chick died. I would have liked for my first chick to live.
