Shrink Wrapped Duckling - Please Help!

Thank you so much for your advice! It’s very helpful. I wish there was a clear cut answer, but I guess with assisted hatching there usually isn’t. We’re going to continue to slowly assist and will keep the thread updated.

You want it to look something like this.

Once I'm able to get that membrane peeled back from the air cell area then I use my q-tip with Vaseline and try to really grease up the edges of the shell where the shell touches the duckling so it doesn't get dried and stuck.
