Shrink wrapped duckling?

They've both made it through the night and his blood vessels have receded well. He's got a small amount of yolk left that I can see so he's sat in his egg waiting and peeping at me

the upside down pipper has a large hole but I can still see some blood vessels so he's resting too and peeping

and a third egg has externally pipped and is cracking the shell well

GOOD GOOD GOOD, he's making progress, they should be getting out soon..

Still waiting on him. The yolk has almost halved in size though he's a beautiful little pipper. His brothers and sisters are on their way to. I've got him, the upside down pipper and two others with external pips on their way. Another has an internal pip and the other 3 are moving but no internal or external pips yet. These are all mini silver appleyards. One runner has pipped and the other runners are being lazy

We are now a duck in a cup. He's pretty much out but there's still some yolk a small ball left so he's in his shell in a cup the upside down one is still peeping. I couldn't see well in his egg so I took the shell of the air cell to see how his yolk was and I got this view? What do you think I should now?

I wouldn't attempt to tell you hope Lacrystol is still around here.

For anyone wanting an update he is now out and all yolk has been absorbed. Will get a photo when he's fluffy thanks so much for everyone's help. His brother is trying to kick his shell off. There are 3 external pips, one is zipping and the others are still rocking

That's great news... sounds like all is going well for them lil hatchers,. look forward to seeing pics. The one trying to kick the shell off is it the one who pipped wrong end?

Yeah he was the upside down pip. He's out now with the other duckling and another one is almost half way loads of peeping and rolling they're so cute ^.^

I had to help the upside down one then left him to kick himself out when ready which he did and the other one was in a cup overnight for his yolk to absorb then he kicked himself free when I took him out to see how he was doing. I pretty much had to completely hatch the upside down one I'll get better pics when they're fluffy
