I pulled it's beak and it came out except the cord.. I had to tug it from the inside of the shell

OMG goodness, he was suppose to stay in the shell the ONLY thin you needed to do was get his head out. Perhaps I wasn't really clear. Dang it sorry to say he's not going to make it.

I thought I was supposed to!??! OMG please don't tell me I just killed it! The shell only has a teensie bit of yolk and it didn't bleed but a tiny spot when I took it out
