well for now just for a set up if you want when they need to get in a coop just for now clean it out put the feeders in and put a whole bunch of shavings on your daughters play house floor and you can make CHEAP nest boxes and take a small section of fence and put it around the coop and you have a coop that easy and i can help you also i suggest keeping three just in case one dies you dont have to worry about depression for the other duck for being alone. trust me keep some and you'll enjoy them. God puts

in our life for a reason!!!

I THINK they do.. Lol. They peck her to death but she just sits there with her eyes closed like she enjoys it. Haha. Then they lay their necks out on her back like they want to snuggle up. So funny to watch them together!

Awww...their cuddles are adorable! I do hope you get to keep a pair, because they are so fun and dear to your heart after you have watched over them for so long waiting for them to hatch! And especially with you having to help them out! just remember their coop and pen doesn't have to be fancy...just has to work for the little quacklings!

I'm working on it though! I think if he sees how easy we can make it work, he'll be sold. He's just a tightwad and I'd afraid we will have to sink a ton of $ into it

LOL..no..no..no"shakes head"..ducklings don't take a lot of money. Itt can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be

You just use what you have for now..then slowly do some upgrades! So slow that noobody really notices the money spent

thought I would throw in some advice on a less mess duck waterer. Get a small Tupperware type container and cut a hole in the lid just big enough for the duck's head to go in to get the water. It is a lot less messy than an open bowl or a regular chick waterer, and they will take turns!

Eggs are here AND my broody Peep has been sitting on her nest(right now still her infertile eggs) most of the time with eat,drink,poop and dusting breaks
