I brought them back inside. Lol I'm such a paranoid freak. It's gonna be 68 tonight and they've been used to their 80 degree box... Maybe tomorrow night. Haha

LOL..I totally would have done the sameI brought them back inside. Lol I'm such a paranoid freak. It's gonna be 68 tonight and they've been used to their 80 degree box... Maybe tomorrow night. Haha
LOL..I totally would have done the sameI think they probably would be fine at those temps, but better to be safe!!!! Were they ok out there until you brought them in? Not freaking out?
Its OK,,,he will get used to itOh yeah, they were totally chill. Lol. But mama wasn't!! My hubby thinks I'm nuts
I don't know if this will help but my duck "coop" looks to be just bigger than your soon to be duck house. I have calls so mine didnt have to be huge.right now I have 6 calls, momma,dadda,3 outdoor babies and one indoor baby. The pit in the ground is soon to be a new duck pond.![]()

The door is just a hole cut in the side and a mine door to shut it at night. And he best part is mine used to be a play pen too!!!! I just took off the sides and added old tin that I then painted.
Ahh well that's sad. Well at least you have visitation rights... Maybe you will be lucky enough to keep blue as a house duck like calichickens chicken??????![]()
Aww..so sorrySee, we don't have room for something like this. My uncle has decided he wants 4 of the babies on his farm.. Then my mom wants two and she's going to keep blue for me as well until we have a place or sell this place and buy some land. It kills me, but I just don't have what I'm looking for here![]()
. At least this way I'll have visitation rights to all of them and blue will eventually live with me. We will obviously get a duck friend for blue when we take her
You could always get little Blue some duckie diapers and make s/he a house duck???? Might be hard for Blue though, because s/he is used to its duckling buddies! And ducks are WAY messier than chickens and we all know how you feel about that...LOL!!!!Ahh well that's sad. Well at least you have visitation rights... Maybe you will be lucky enough to keep blue as a house duck like calichickens chicken??????![]()
