Shrink wrapped &?!!

He’s only been out of the eggshell since 6:30-7 this morning. Pics are current times @ 10:30’ish, so he’s mostly dry, but a little funkier than others were that hatched and rested awhile in the incubator like normal; I’ve just never seen how they act upon arrival.
They are very wobbly after hatch and sleep for almost 24 hours afterwards.

I have him out of the bator as there is at least one more hatching and a few that may not. We have 3 that hatched 2 days ago, but I wasn’t sure if he should go in the brooder with them or not??
Just leave him in the bator. You can still back temp to around 98 degrees.

I think he will straighten out. Do you have any nutridrench that you can give him tomorrow when he's more alert?

he probably just needs to rest, I had to help two of my last hatch out, they took a bit to get their legs under them, one I had to leave partially in the shell as the vessels had not finished detaching and it looked like he still had yolk to absorb. they'd gotten dried out while the others were hatching.

So it seems the lil chick has some toe curling, and has some trouble getting around. All other 6 hatchlings are fine. My kiddos looked up some splinting diagrams and directions and came up with this for her. It’s early days, so we will just keep pulling for ”Pestilence” I bought some infant vitamins today for her- should I just give it to runty one?

Here's a pic of two of my quails feet. They had trouble for the first few days but they're fine now, I never used shoes

These were both assisted. They were 3 days overdue, and t had been 48 hours since the previous one hatched. These birds never even externally pipped, I never thought I'd get them out alive

of course I bought with iron, so I ran out and picked up iron free formula. She’s doing pretty good now and has perked up enough to eat today so she just might make it!
She is stomping and bouncing around in her little shoes, so they seem to be doing the trick. HUGE
