Sarah had finished her bear meat and had made herself a bed of straw under her lean-to. She would go to town the next day and get a blanket or two. As she thought about the day's events, she became overwhelmed. She sat there and just cried.

nathan spied her on his way to the village, and shed a single silent tear for her as well. He didn't know biting one person could have caused so much pain. He headed to the village, soon returning with blankets and a stolen necklace for her. He set them on her lap, and stood before her, a sympathetic look on his face.
