sicilian buttercup update

I know everyone is going to say this is a rooster! But, I'm just not 100% sure yet.(Though I am 90%) When looking at hen pics, they have wattles, and red combs, and black tail feathers. So should I be finding him a new home now, or waiting a bit longer?? He does act like a boy, like he tries to pick a fight with our rabbit when all the hens leave the rabbit alone, and he sort of bosses the hens around, like herds them

You could maybe find someone near you willing to take him. He does look like a rooster, but you can never be sure until he crows! Make sure you have a plan, but you don't have to get rid of him right away if he's not causing any trouble.

Well, I looked at his tail feathers in the sunlight today, and I think I saw shiny almost greenish, so now I'm up to 99% on the cockerel. Hmmph!

Please please please keep us posted when you know for sure! I have a Sicilian buttercup that I'm trying to determine the gender on, too, and your photos are very useful!

He was a he. We found him a nice home!

How many weeks old was he by the time you knew for sure? I just got two day old Buttercups yesterday and even tho they gave me a 90% hen guarantee ... You know how that goes! They're such pretty chicks.
