For the past couple of days I have been keeping a close eye on one of my chicks that just didn't seem right. She was still eating and drinking, but she seemed like she was puffed up a lot and sleepy. Yesterday I noticed her laying down, chirping and had been picked on. I brought her in, gave her electrolytes & meds, and kept her in all night. Today she is puffed up, chirping constantly, and panics when I try to put her down. She's not chirping real loud just softly and constantly. She seems like she wants to sleep but doesn't. I hear no ticking when she breathes, no discharge, no foul smell. I am at a complete loss. Anyone experienced this or know of something I might be missing? Thank you in advance!
