I recently ordered some chicks. Lost 4 the first night 1 within a week to what I was told was wry neck, only lived 5 days after becoming weak. Now I have another I noticed was weak picked it up to the waterer. While in my hand it pooped what appeared to be plain water that was really hot . What could this be?

I’m not sure might be an infection..do you have the brooder temp at 100F? Wry neck I think is due to a vitamin deficiency if I remember correctly

I don't keep the light on them during the day. We had temps in the 90s with heat index over 100 I was afraid they would be way too hot. I checked again, I made tbd chick drink again then it walked away pretty good. I'm worried it was something contagious after already losing the 1 chick being a little older. The others I just assumed a very rough shipping since my replacements are doing really well besides 1 loss. I'll keep monitoring the poop I just never seen 1 poop water!

I forgot to add I use Apple cider vinegar with mother in their water and after what I thought was a wry neck loss I've been adding raw honey for vitamins. Hoping I don't lose anymore. Any other ideas I should be doing?

I don't have a lot of experience unfortunately but I believe you should isolate the sick ones. Some people have tried giving their birds penicillin and some sort of vitamin from the feedstore but I think most of those are older birds.
