have a 3 week old cochin that has stopped growing. She is very thin and not very active. Still have a heat lamp in place @ 80 degrees. Have reintroduced her to food and water. Somewhere I read about an egg yolk soup. Recipe? Other recommendations?

I'm sorry to hear that.

It sounds like she has coccidia. Get her on some corid as fast as possible and make sure she stays warm, hydrated, and provide her with some scrambled eggs for vitamins and protein, as well as fat to help her gain weight.
Is the brooder kept warm, clean, and dry? What food is she being fed?

I hope she gets better soon. Best of luck!

vaccinated and we are feeding nonmedicated feed. Feeding Purina chick starter.
Coccidia still possible?
Droppings appear normal, other birds in brooder seem fine.
thanks !

Could she have worms? Worms are different then coccidia and are treated with different medications.
Do they have mites or lice?
What symptoms is she showing (a difference in crop, how she stands, how she breaths, swelling of the face, ect)
