When they were healthy, somewhat. I live in northern California so it gets pretty’s hot here at times, but they always had access to shade + cold, fresh water. Since then I’ve had them in a controlled environment back in their brooder box inside. Unfortunately, I think you may be right. Unlike the other sick chick who recovered these are showing no signs of improvement. Just a lot of twitching. They only drink when I lead their beak to water and I’ve been trying to feed them but they won’t eat, and haven’t eaten in about a day. I feel I may have to cull if I don’t see any improvements soon, it seems like they’re suffering and I don’t want them too ;(Oh that looks very bad. Are they under too much heat? I'm so sorry but it could be too late here. For the record, yes, adding water to feed will encourage them to eat it.
