Sick 8 week old pullets

Make sure the chicks are both drinking enough water and eating. The one gasping looks like she has some mucus that is draining from her sinuses, and making her swallow at times. Getting started chicks from another person is risky. We can never know if they have been exposed to a carrier. The stress of moving and the cold could have brought on symptoms. If I could get some Tylan 50 injectable at a feed store, I would give it orally 1/4 ml per pound 3 times a day for 5 days. Tylosin powder for the water or oxytetracycline would also work. Oxy is sometimes available in feed stores as LA200 injectable. If you have a vet who could prescribe that would be best. Testing is needed to determine if they have a respiratory disease such as MG or others. Hopefully both will make it. Keep them warm, since having a respiratory infection can make it hard to regulate body temp.

I WILL TRY, We had a blizzard yesterday and spent the day making sure the other birds had water/food/dug out.

THANK YOU. They are both eating and drinking. I will follow your advice and I'm very grateful for your help.

I was able to find a vet and get an appt yesterday. You were spot on with the sinus infection. The vet gave a 10-day antibiotic (Doxycycline) and a thorough exam. They are healthy in other regards. I wanted you to know how very grateful I am for your guidance/wisdom.
