My 4 month old Americauna is having very odd/sick behavior. I noticed yesterday when I let all my four girls out to roam the garden that she was standing still like a statue. Obviously this is uncharacteristic for a chicken. She was standing separate from the flock and a little weak in her legs. Eventually she snapped out of it and started roaming with the flock, eating and acting normal only to fall down later almost in a seizure state and be attacked by the others. They normally are very friendly with each other.
I kept her separate in a box last night but today she seems a little better. Still not quite her frisky self, nor as strong and vigorous as she usually is but I've let her free range a little and she is eating just fine.
She does not have any noticeable wounds, discharge, or trouble breathing.
She is definitely not as strong on her feet but also has not toppled over again. But I often find her just standing staring at the ground almost hunched over when the others are pecking away.
Any advice would be appreciated.
