I have a sicky. "Rosie" has had a poopy bum feathers for a while now. Hasn't laid eggs for a few months, but I just chalked that up to molting, age or stress. Just this week she has become very lethargic, (doesn't even hop up into the walled part of the coop at night)loss of interest in anything she used to like, doesn't eat or drink much. Neck is retracted into her body, poop is soft and brown, but not liquid. Turns away from other chickens or humans, totally uninterested. Feathers are bleaching out, some feathers hard on one side. She is 2 1/2 years old and has always been low chicken in pecking order, but she is the favorite. Such a sweet girl. Can't seem to find an illness that fits these varied symptoms. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
