At that age I would not think cocci if they were shipped birds, I would think it to be shipping stress.

I was worried with this too. Normally I get chicks after some time to settle at the store, 24 hours or so, but I was down in town and it’s a wishlist breed I didn’t want to miss

It sure could be but one's dead now. I wouldn't chance it as the Corid won't hurt.

Nutri-drench is best I have found for this works fast.

Didn't say it wasn't just not likely because they are only 3 to 4 days old and cocci has an incubation period of like 5 to 6 days then they show symptoms.
