Hi! I have some chicks that are roughly a month old. I started losing babies rapidly when I first got them but revived them by adding Rooster Booster and /or homemade electrolyte water to their feed and gave them this same water in their waterer. A week ago, I found a baby dead in the morning with no sign of any problem the night before. Now, last night my little Buff banty is laying on her side with legs stretched out and not drinking or eating. I have dipped her beak in the water. I wonder if she isn't in pain. How do you tell? There is some loose bowels in the brooder. Surely can't tell who. Should I give her antibiotics or ??? I added a little goldenseal tincture to her water. I take it for everything myself and have given it to many creatures with good results. Sigh... Any advice? Thank you ... And Happy Father's Day to all you Dads!
