Sick Bantam Chick

A week ago, a small Old English Game bantie cross hatched in our incubator. We put her under an older hen that has raised many chicks. Chicka (that's what I named her) seemed to be doing well until it rained 2 days later. She was eating and everything but she got a poopy bum. She survived for a week. Yesterday she died. She was crying, but she was still eating and drinking. She was very, very thin. Her feet were pale orange and extremly thin.
Does anyone know what happened to her? If it happens again I would like to know what to do.

Sounds like cocci to me. The pale skin and poopy butt. Sorry for the loss.
