Sick bantam

Welcome to BYC! I hope your rooster recovers quickly

5 year old bantam rooster is sick, he weighs 1.5 pounds.
Vet has prescribed:
.4 days (once a day) of tetracycline syringes filled to approx 6 ml
Along with 4 days meloxidyl 1.5 ml- dose of 0.6 cc. (once a day).

Is this to much meloxidyl?

Welcome. That is not too much meloxicam. Chickens metabolize differently than humans. My chicken dose of meloxicam is always higher than my dogs - and I have big dogs.
